Some couples choose to hire Wedfuly for an additional cost to be on-site, while others ask a friend or family member to be the person who works directly from the wedding location with the Wedfuly team.
This is a KEY decision to make sure your wedding goes smoothly. Since the Wedfuly team is 100 percent virtual, this person will act as their eyes, ears, and hands-on your wedding day—assist with tech setup, and generally make sure things go according to plan. This person will be on the phone with your Wedfuly Coordinator for the duration of your wedding.
🔥 Hot tip: Your On-Site contact is an imperative part of your virtual wedding experience. Choose a tech-savvy friend or family member who has great communication skills and isn’t in the wedding party (and for everyone’s sake, please not your parents). A good rule of thumb: pick a friend or family member who always texts you back right away, not someone whose phone is always on 1 percent battery and MIA on any given day.
What is an Onsite Contact you might ask?
You were chosen to be Wedfuly’s eyes, ears, and hands on the ground at the wedding. You are in charge of setting up all A/V (audio/ video) equipment for the virtual wedding and communicating with the Wedfuly Coordinator. You need to be physically present for for the entirety of the Wedding (including prep!).
It takes 2 to tango and make a virtual wedding come to life.
The Wedfuly Coordinator: The Coordinator works remotely to make sure that the virtual guests are taken care of, they switch between camera angles, make sure everyone can hear, and will play any media (such as videos, slideshows, and music).
You, the onsite contact: You will be onsite handing the tech and working hand in hand with the Coordinator to make sure everything is set up correctly.
